Abbey of Saint Savin
Particularly fine is the abbey of Saint Savin.The church of this abbey dates from the 11th century. The murals and ceiling paintings (fresco's ) found in this church are part of the UNESCO world inheritance project. The life of the monks, which had their domicile here for a long time, is portrayed beautifully on the upper story.


Limoges - Poitiers
If you would like to change the quiet country side for a day in a lively city. Limoges or Portiers are easily within reach of our holiday accommodation. Both cities are lively university cities with lots of shops, boutiques, and restaurants welcoming you.

Limoges owes its reputation to the porcelain industry, which dates back to the end of the 18th century. As well as crockery sets, collectors-and art objects are produced and can be found in the shops and factories, which can be visited in and around Limoges.If you are specifically interested in porcelain do not miss the museum 'National Adrien-Dubouche in Limoges.

Montmorillion
Montmorillion, called the city of Art and Culture, is located in the heart of Poitou-Charentes. The city is very proud to present the art of printing and calligraphy which originated here. Numerous stores in the city present you with the opportunity to browse and shop for these art objects, displayed beautifully and stylishly in their shop windows.
