'Parc Naturel Regional de la Brenne'

The landscape changes to the north of the river Le Creuse. This is where 'La Brenne' starts; the land of 1000 lakes with its heathland and the beautiful red sandstone hills, the so called' buttons'. There are different maps available (walking, cycling, driving, horse riding and cross country cycling) to enjoy this area of outstanding beauty at your leisure.

This area has a particular flora and fauna due to the versatile landscape. This park belongs to one of the most important marsh lands of France's interior countryside.
